Clarification on a bad prs deal

guess i came late to this thread.. just to contribute, i had a good personal experience with Hub, he's a good guy and a gentleman lah.

I traded my cherry ES335 to him earlier this year. He found out later on that there was a small crack between the binding and top that I never noticed before (haha I'm a bedroom player, kept it in the case for months). He didn't make a fuss, was very cool about it, he came over to my place, gave me some tips on what to do, and then we undid the trade very amicably. Steady and reasonable... So, respect, bro.. won't hestiate to buy from Hub in future.

btw Hub.. no movement on the crack, think i'm keeping the 335 for now :)

Yeah basically their hands are tied too.. as dealers they can recommend for G*bson USA to repair/replace, but they seen worse cases than mine that G*bson didnt accept. So no point sending it on a round-the-world trip also...

Anyway no issue now cos there's been no movement for about a year and everything seems stable.. so keep lor! Hehe

thats good news bro did you call swee lee up wat did they say man

Just offering my support to Hub here, as I'm another satisfied buyer. I bought a Vintage '62 Reissue MIA Strat from him and regretted nothing. He was very accommodating and flexible, and even didn't mind me trading my Highway One plus cash to get the axe. Kudos to you bro, let this thread be a testament to your honest and friendly ways.

...by the way, when I have the dough in a few months, you'll be the first person I look for when I get a Gibson LP!

Pedal-itis is a great seller too. Very patient. Got my Les paul DC from him. I was in australia and it took me 3 weeks to come back. He still waited and reserved it for me with no deposit. He just took my word.
