Just wondering , the citymusic st30 starter pack offers a craftsman stratocaster copy, a line 6 spider III 15 watt amp.

Is this starter pack a good starter pack for a beginner like me?
Cuz all along i've been playing acoustic guitar and i think i wanna get going with the electric mmhm.
The amp seems pretty good for me, even though its a digital amp.
the whole package costs 295$.
is it good?

i have that starter pack. its good(i prefer that st30 to most ibanez's ive tried :P). till 2 years later when the amp starts sounding weird.

btw, if u get it, when u put the whammy bar on, dont abuse it. mine broke off. \m/

woah, i heard some great reviews about that washburn x10, but i heard that the whammy bar gets it out of tune easily, is it true?

Tremolos on low-end guitars go out of tune easily so that's to be expected with most low-end guitars.

Not much experience with Craftsman but I can vouch for LTD guitars. I tried some low-end LTDs and they're definitely quality stuff...

I guess the craftsman strat is ok, I remember trying it out at citymusic while testing out my PODXT a year ago, no real problems really. The spider III may appeal to beginners at first(loads of effects, amp models, etc) but down the road, you'll realise it doesnt sound as good as other amps in that range.
