Hello all, do you guys know anyone whom might be able to chop off sides of cymbals for me? It'll look something like the crash near the ride in this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qzolhh55Ds , and seriously check his snare out man. I mean his recordings all sound so clean. Damn amazing. Please help me!

P.S this guy has been on my bookmark list for quite awhile now. But unfo, no new videos from him..

Yea, and also spiced up with effects like reverb.

Being a fan of the HHX evo O-zones, I hope you know the reason why he chopped off that side of the crash. Would be such a heart pain to see a lovely cymbal being chopped. Ouch.

if u think that the only logical thing to do with a cracked cymbal, is to make it into a smaller cymbal then ur wrong, once u trim of the sides, it will never , never have its cymbal properties that it once had after trimming, the exposed edge will be unlathed.. what i did to resolve cracks is to drill a hole depending on where the crack is of course, so that when you hit it it won't put too much stress, which intend won't crack it further. also great to put rivets too.:p just my 2 cents
