RODNEY BERRY (AUS)- guitar and electronics.
Tech heavy weight spent much time in Japan and now is in Singapore lending his huge experience to many hi-end academic circles. A rare outing by this electro-acoustic guru.
DARRYL ERVIN (USA) - solo percussion.
Darryl is a member of the seminal AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians)- a very influential and historically important creative music movement founded in Chicago in the 60's whose members include(d) such greats as Muhal Richard Abrams, Roscoe Mitchell, Leroy Jenkins, Joseph Jarman, Lester Bowie, Anthony Braxton, George Lewis, Henry Threadgill...... phew...... In other words Mr Ervin is the real deal!!
IRON-EGG (AUS)
Nu improv duo featuring Darren Moore (scraping metal) and Tim O'Dwyer (baritone sax multiphonics- harmonics), exploring theinnernessness of sound. Imagine living inside a 12 foot church bell in the middle of the Australian desert.
