Choosing between Bass Podxt Live, Boss ME50B & Korg AX30

there's a USB output function for the Pod (with version >2 update), you can use any program on your pc / mac to record a post amp / cab / effects sound. handy function to have, i'm using Ableton Live Lite 4 to do song arrangements with stuff i record.

there's also other stuff like re-amping (haven't tried that) through pc / mac.

you can probably do the same with the AX3000B or ME50B if you get a lightsnake cable or any other 1/4" to USB cables.

ok, i'm digging up a almost year old thread,
but that's cause this thread has exactly what i want to talk about.
so i'm not going to create a new thread.

ok enough of reasons, lawl.

what i want to ask is,
between the Boss ME50B and the Korg AX3000B,
which has better modulation effects( stuff like synth flanger phraser tremolo filtron etc)

cause apparently i'm inclined to buy the AX3000B but it's nt available in Sg anymore, according to city music, so i'm deciding to buy the ME50B but i'm nt sure if i'll be losing out as i'm buying the multi efx mainly for the sake of the modulation effects.

if the AX3000B is really good i think i'll be ordering from overseas or buying 2nd hand.

peace and happy new year.
HAHA.

modulation effects huh? ive used the me50B before and its ok. can use. but you can only engage only 1 at any time, i.e: you cant set a delay on a flanger. or phaser on a tremelo.

dude, get single pedals man.

Well i am a bassist i have a Line 6 M13 and i have tried the Pod X3 live ( not xt the x3) i must say that i am quite impressed by my M13 and its looping capabilities.

...

dude, get single pedals man.

yeah, just a matter of time.
for now i prefer multi-efx.
sorts of lets u experiment with sounds much easier.
and between multi-efx and stompboxes, each has their advantage so most lykly i'll be getting both types. so that they'll suit their needs.

haha.
