the first time i dl only can play 30 secs.. i had to download it 6 times..and each time i dl adds a couple more seconds the the previous download...stupid shit... after downloading 6 times i got the full thing.... woohoooo
 
I just watched the video--man. the guy goes damn fast la. although is it me or did everything sound weird? i'm used to a fuller sound when I listen to other people play.
 
nah it's not ur fault.. just that the guy.. isn't really good.. it's just all fast playing.. he didn't consider the FULL SOUND which u were saying.. it can be done if he played ghost notes on the snare or the bass drum.
but the boy's pretty good for his age.. very impressive speed..
(i feel damn demoralised really..) if he were an older guy, i'll feel motivated..but he's so young and it really demoralises me..
 
eh. I'm 16 and a total noob. seriously doubting whether i have a natural sense of rhythm, whether I can drum or not and if I'm just wasting money by trying to learn drumming. this guy makes me wanna quit.
 
well..if u don't got it..u gotta learn it...
some people are not born with it..in fact..NOBODY IS BORN WITH IT.. u gotta learn it..just so happens that boy has a more natural ability and can learn faster... don't doubt urself..u just haven't unlocked the chest of drum skills in ur brain..
 
really? people have been telling me sense of rhythm is something that people have and if you don't have it don't waste time learning drums...another reason I'm afraid of going yamaha. if i get james i think he'll kill me.
 
ahhh tell them go to hell....it's whether ur better at it or less better.. u CAN DEVELOP this SENSE...that is THROUGH drumming!

Don't let people get you down man. drummar-buah is right. No one is born with it. It's how hard you work at it that matters. Practise and prove your doubters wrong! :twisted:
 
haha okay. that's interesting. first time someone's said that you don't need an innate sense of rhythm. even klutzes like me with no coordination can learn drums too lol.

Just saw the video.... his tuning is not good... he looks like its still the stock skins man.....maybe thats why the lack of fullness.. But this video he tone down so much... that earlier post was wah lau..... no horse run some might say. this solo had no fire man.... he looks like he is not interested anymore.....well just my opinion nothin serious.
