The crux of the entire issue is that the seller is wrongly using the 'Gibson' namesake.

And anyway, it is more of Les Paul copies then Gibson copies. Les Paul copies produce LPs under their own unique brand, and they stand behind their product. In short, they are legitimate.

Gibson fakes, on the otherhand, are unreliable, dubious and totally iffy. They are blatantly producing sub-standard products and falsely labelling them as genuine 'Gibsons'. That's the problem.

Well, copies are licenced copies. (Eg. Epiphones are licenced copies of Gibson) Fakes are well, fakes, unlicenced produced by some unknown ppl using maybe rattan as the body.
