For those who think that getting Gigastudio, Kontakt, and the others large standalone piano samples are too costly, here is a cheaper option. It does not comes in GB size, but it is good enough and able to compete with most ROMplers out there.
Wusik has sample piano libraries that uses their own VST engine. Their newer high quality acoustic piano isn't too bad - especially since the price is only 10USD per piano (largest one comes in 258MB size). One caveat - you'll need their Wusik V2 engine to run it which is about 50USD. Still much cheaper than the other large piano samples.
Sure, it can't compete with the large piano sample libraries out there, but it's definitely a cheaper option with fairly good quality.
