RHCP and The Police and Metallica are under "and many more" haha.
Black Eyed Peas is not!

Btw, it's not just the concerts, those short films were quite well done, IMO.

Music is the international langauge to spread such international message. Is there really a better way?

The aim of the event is to reach the mass with the message, it is not to change the people's heart and their behavior overnight. The former is achieved, IMO, but the latter will take time...

The organisers had already made this global event as green as possible.

So, initially, although all of them were there just to listen to their fav bands, in the end, all of them got the message too. Notice, I did not say "in the end, all of them caught the message.

hmm.. i guess one is enough. no one wanna watch boring stuff about this guy named Al Gore talking about global warming...

their target audience is youngsters to middle age people who are into music and all this stuff... so instead of al gore talking about global warming and bore them to death, they embed this messages with the help of rockstars and such so they will "GET" the message...

it's abit ironical and cynical if u look at it but it's worth the shot... If Al Gore we're to become president instead of BUSH--IT, im sure the war in Iraq, Afghan and all that shit won't happen and instead most of the $ they spent for the wars can be channeled into helping the very earth we live in...

BTW: Al Gore lost to BUSH by a mere a few percent man... if only MICAH From Heroes we're to let him win a landslide, i guess we would see a much different earth apart from all the wars that the superpowers are creating now by the Bush.
