changing guitar color

I was wondering if it is possible to change a guitar's color. Hence, is there a shop in Singapore that does this service? :)

You can either look for Gr3y, he's a member in this forum under that nick or you can go to Guitar Workshop at bras basah.

But i'd go with Gr3y, his service seems top notch

since maestro has a factory that makes guitars i'd imagine they can do it. you should even be able to find a rough price list for their services.

if you have an expensive super awesome guitar, then changing the color could be cool to make it unique for you

but a regular guitar say epiphone, LTD or something like that, I'd say not worth it because the paintjob could cost as much or close the the actual price of the guitar itself

don't bother doing it with a cheap guitar.

you can practise on gloss surface woods first. best is to do enough research first and by experimenting before doing the actual thing.

I have sent one of my guitars to a car shop for experimentation. a little too thick and I had trouble fitting parts like pots back into the guitar. I ended up with a lot of unexpected paint chips caused by me trying to force them into their respective holes. I know it's mostly my fault for doing that but let this be known that car re-sprayers do not know how to finish a guitar. they are not trained to do that.

Check out Gr3y.

He is doing/had done a repaint on an Orville Les Paul.Maybe can ask for quotation.Thats for really tedious ones cause les pauls have binding which are harder to work one.

He did respray all white on a Schecter before.
