CARNATION with THE PINHOLES - 2010 SINGAPORE TOUR
Carnation took the Australian music scene by storm in the early 2007 with a muscular sound that combines elementsloveof the Madchester sound (Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and Oasis) with spacey, groove based psychedelia (the Doors). Their self-titled EP has been widely praised Australia-wide. Its first single 'Gone' and its accompanying video are currently on heavy rotation on local Australian radio and TV.
As part of a fledgling grass-roots initiative between Australia and South-East Asia, Melbourne 5-piece Carnation are set to embark on a 5-show tour of Singapore starting on the 25th of August. Carnation will be supported by popular Singapore act, The Pinholes.
The dates are as follows:
27 Aug 2010 9:00pm 'Home Club' @ 'The Riverwalk’
28 Aug 2010 9:00pm ’Blue Jazz’
