Calling everyone who is or got into SP

this is the problem with the scene in SP.
equipment provided for most of the gigs in SP sucks, why?cause SP is known to be stingy when it comes to events like this.maybe you guys are new to SP or something, but if any of you guys have been around in SP for some time or at least performed in SP, you guys should have known bout the equipment problem in SP.
and another problem. before anyone should say, 'the band sucked' or shit like that...you should open up your eyes and see what kinda equipment they give.the monitors on stage werent even used. i dun even know whytf the soundmen put it on stage.for display i guess.sheesh.so dont just shoot criticism ppl.we should support each other in this scene, at least appreciate it.
and its easy to criticise, try going on stage and play with those equipment, with the monitors not on.and crap like that..then maybe you'll understand.
support and appreciate.cause we all share the same passion here.then whytf you guys sign up for soft rite.haha.peace.

i'm from the first band that played, Altarya. thanks for all your support guys. really cool to play to you all. really enjoyed my time on stage. you people were crazy to the max man.

even though we could hear ass on stage, just seeing you guys move gave us motivation.

reyz , it wasnt the equipment , the smarvo amps arent all that bad . It was the over all presentation of the band that was bad that day

i'm so sure you could do better. our main focus was more on engaging the crowd. as much as we would like to play what we like. it was a freshmen party. a party for them. so entertain them we did.

i came to the party latee . but the hiphop scene's kinda cool in SP . was watching those hip hoppers doing their thing in a pit in the crowd. their dance steps were real cool .

sad thing is....
no metal .
though its not expected in a party. =p
haha.

I'm not sure if i could do better but we all have our fair share of bad shows , i'm not gonna blow sunshine up your ass man , thats lying . Anyway its this wednesday at canteen 3

haha hey zax, my man, u say good to have support, but hey, by saying, "the band sucks"? well, thats a good way of supporting huh?lol.funny fellow.bad presentation of the band, while i thought they did their best to make it as enjoyable as possible for the crowd, thats most important, and you got no idea how bad those smarvo amps are, until you've started using it man..maybe you should think twice before criticising.peace. =)

come on ppl lets try our best to not make this a band flaming thread..its titled calling all who got into sp not hw good is the band in sp...peace ya'll lets just forget it and evryone keep your comments to yourself...inculding me...

I must have put it across wrongly and was too harsh on my choice of words , the performance wasnt that good that day . Perhaps it was the amps and other factors but like i said , we all have our fair share of bad performances and we learn from them . I would like to meet up with you and perhaps we could have a jam . Anyway yeah i've used the smarvo's . They arent that bad even with the studio's tgm guitar .

sorry man, to the poster who said shame on ruixist and zax.

guess i was really just saying what i heard. and i heard the soundcheck, not the actual performance, so what i heard from the soundcheck in all honesty wasn't impressive. maybe it was the equipment, maybe it wasn't. and yeah, i haven't been in SP for 'awhile', because i'm new to the school, i've been there less than 10 times and um, probably can find FC 3 with some difficulty. i wouldn't know anything about the equipment that's apparently provided out of stinginess.

that said, apologies put forth if any offence was rendered. although i did say 'no offence' in my initial reaction to the question regarding the bands.

Honestly, I don't see the need for any apologies to be made. zax and ruixist are merely expressing their thoughts and opinions regarding the bands that they saw.

Why do you shoot them down for being honest?

haha sleepykitty just wants to see a free internet flaming battle.

Ruixist i kinda understand cuz i thought the soundcheck was quite bad too. I thought my performance drumming was great though:D and my band were great too! but the other band the santana and maroon5 one, guitarist DAMN GOOD.
