Buget bout 700 for amp + guitar + effect.

About the starter packs. I personally have not bought any of the mentioned starter packs, the SX or the behringer v-tone guitar pack, but like i said before, from trying out the packs and other packs that my friends have bought i find that the guitars and amps in guitar packs have been rather lacking and are very easy to outgrow and the quality is really bad.

Having said that however, i've been hearing good things about SX guitars recently, they are a chinese brand if i'm not mistaken. I'm not sure what guitars they have in the starter pack though. maybe someone who is more sure about that can enlighten you

It seems like your budget has suddenly dropped to $200? if so, its going to be hard to find a good quality electric first hand. i mean if you are going to buy everything seperately it would definitely cost more than that. I feel like you are rushing to get this electric guitar. I wanted to get my own electric for so long, (i played the acoustic primarily and was playing my friend's borrowed electric guitar) it took me about a year of research, getting to know my tastes and the market prices and values, and i bought my first electric guitar second hand, a fender strat MIM. lol. Good things come to those who wait i guess. Just to advise you not to rush into it. The worst thing to happen is to spend your 200+ and find out 2 months down the road that your guitar neck is warped and it buzzes too much and everything is falling apart. take your time on this.

you might want to learn more about electric guitars first like what to look out for on your own and take time to understand before buying one,IMHO.

SX is korean brand, made in china.... I wanted to get their strat but since the starter pack included the amp i thought best thing was to get it all la .... Same guitar but with additional stuff ....

Lols.. hey my budget is still around 700.. that anep person is jus another dude asking... weird enuff he didnt start another thread.

oh wells.. i did 'lotsa' reseach... kinda found the sound i wanted.. which can be produce with a S-S-H set up... i have been waitin for a electric guitar for 2 years..

I don't see how getting a Squier strat with MG15 is better than getting a SX Starter pack(hey look, an even better guitar, but since its a starter pack, it must be of lousy quality) since you get everything needed for less than a third of the price. People who say that starter packs are rubbish and then advise the same person to get a squier and a 15 watt amp don't know what the hell they're talking about.

aye hi kaye, jus like u i am a rookie looking for a guitar to start with. been saving saving for a long long time so kinda wanna ask u dude is fender strat ok for a begginer to star with cos i went to sweelee n heard the testing n omg it was great. :lol: and maybe g-400 epiphone ?

Hey guys i finally got my guitar.. A Yamaha Pacifica 112J and a Line 6 Spider 2 amp.. Woo HOT stuff here.. Esp the amp it jus blew me away.. all the built in effects... :lol:

HiHi since your budget is kinda high.. recommand u to get a Fender Strat [japan] or a Epiphone Les paul.. oh yeah.. or mayb a Yamaha Pacifica 612V.. hehs.. oh well.. those are the guitar that i really wanted to get.. but outta my budget. But i'm happy with my current amp and guitar.
