hey guys i just got my tixs...but i have a major question.
i bought two concession tix ($60 category 3) for me and my bro but he can't go...so i'm giving the other tix to my dad.

would there be any problem? i heard they're real strict at the esplanade?

any one can confirm this?

From my experience, gigs at the Esplanade usually ends with a M & G, but that's just what I reckon will happen. I hope so too, will bring his album to get signed

Hi,

The concert was awesome. Sat at row C (Third row from the stage) and half the time he was right infront of me. I got one of the picks he threw from stage! :wink:

Love it when he did John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom", and Peggy Lee's "Fever"! That was unexpected haha. Blew me offffff!

5/5 Stars anytime if you ask me! Awesome performance!!

awesome performance alright...i sat at the sides where he came down from the stage..passed my position twice and he STOPPED!~ took a girl's hand and strummed his guitar!~ was so cool to see him up close and personal!~

Managed to touch the headstock though..lol..true blue performer..one of the last we'll ever get to see :?

GOSH DARN! I'M FREAKIN SPEECHLESS! HIS PLAYING AND VOCALS WAS SO FULL OF EMOTION AND CONVICTION. I WANTED HIM TO SIGN MY PICKGUARD BUT HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN AFTER THAT. BUT HECK, $60 WAS WELL WORTH IT! COME ON IN BUDDY! SINGAPORE OPENS IT'S DOORS FOR YOU! (those who were there, you know what i mean!) HAHAHA.

Man oh man, this has to be one of the best concerts i ever went. I mean yeah the guitar playing is great n all, but its the man himself im still amazed with!!! Wat a performer, wat an entertainer, he just connects with u, n he ozzes out them blues in a way a newbie can tap his leg to.

I mean, its not playing the blues, its feeling it!!! N he defined it tonite!!!

Totally blew me off on the walking ard part!!! N hey, he has got an awesome band manz. The keyboardist was like SUPER!!! Im sure the others r just as gd, but no chance to showcase, but hey they did they no1 job, which is make buddy look gd. V gd support, n considering that he dont prepare his setlist.

haha, somemore he dont use much efx, n u really can hear his TONE!!! channel switching???? This man has 10 channels, the number on his volume knob... His tone is ultimate lor, not v gainy but thats the power tubes cooking n that saturation!!! woohoo

1 day im gg to tell my grand kids i seen the best blues guitarist live.

Only complaint, TOO SHORT!!! N NO ENCORE!!!!!! Sianz

NOOOO... Don't tempt me maaaan... I wasted ten pops on a pickguard and a marker i intended for him to sign... But yeah, his effects was REALLY minimal, just a wah. The keyboardist was frackin awesome too. And hey, anybody knows how his guitarist did the 360 degree guitar spin?

so much better than eric clapton! and i got one of his picks to boot! haha. plus tickets were free! think i really enjoyed myself tonight! full of emotion some great showmanship / thot he played voodoo child better than the man himself! left a deep impression on me.
