bridge pins dont go all the way down

HELP!!

i just got a 2nd hand guitar and i realised that the bridge pins dont go all the way down. the head of the bridge pin sticks out a few cm from the bridge.

i looked online for what to do and apparently bridge pins have different sizes.

my question is.. where can i get different sized bridge pins?

any help is much appreciated. THANKSSS!!!

Is the guitar with strings or no strings when you observe the pins are sticking out?

i can't be sure of the extent of the bridge pins sticking out without you providing a pic. however, if the string tension does not overcome the bridge pin and your guitar plays fine, its probably fine.

in fact, it is good practice not to push your pin all the way in or with excessive strength. it should be easily removed with just your finger strength.
