We are a group of retired and semi/retired guys who play revival R'n'R (60's, 70's, 80's - Elvis, Cliff, Beatles, CCR, Eagles, Santana, etc.) for fun.
Our gigs are usually for charity although we have had a couple of "paid" gigs. We play once a month at a country club where we get dinner, drinks and $50 each 'Ang pow' money.
Presently the band consists of Singer/guitar, lead guitar, bass, keyboard and drums.
We thoroughly enjoy playing and it shows as we get many very positive comments from audiences.
We do covers, and try to be as close to the originals as possible.
We would love to find like-minded brass players (trumpet, sax, trombone) to give us a fuller sound.
We can write the brass parts for the songs we do.
We have tried to find brass players but most of them want to be paid (as in professional playing)
As we only do about 12 -15 gigs a year, this should be more considered as "having a great time playing great music"
