Bras Basah Showroom's Mid Year Clearance Sale!!!

pinkspider i saw u with the xxl and my heart sank...i curse you..arGHHHHHHH..lol kidding la..great deal you got...and bigrockshow i was in the room when you were asking johnson about the price of your guitar..was checking out the AT300..actually i would get that if i were you...it's amazing...

oops hee..sorry..i was surprsie that none of the ppl that went in with me is after the XXL..and i couldnt believe that its going for 1/2price when i asked the SA..so i asked 2 times :x yeap its definetly a great deal..what did you get yo?

I went down to Sweelee today to take a look. The sale is still going strong! I saw a Joe Perry Boneyard Signature Les Paul (Ephiphone) still on the rack, and a pretty nice sunburst Jackson, the rest of the guitars outside were mostly low-level epiphones, most of the ibanezes were gone. Inside the glass room, there were still a few guitars worth looking at. I saw a signed Andy Timmons Ibanez sig and a Ibanez RG Prestige (dunno the model). Other that that, there were mostly only bass guitars left inside the room.....

I got a Ibanez Tubescreamer TS7 for a lot less than I expected, 50 bucks, and it was the last one they had. Sadly I didn't find a hardcase for my SZ though, there were only acoustic and les paul cases left.

hey jem007 there were lotsa guys in the room..cant really recall if you can descript yourself? i was looking for a Ibanez yes..but a andy timmons signature is outta my budget i guess..plus its not a RG that i'm looking for =) but i'm a andy timmons fan none the less!~ Probably Danger Danger set the Melodic Rock heights for me

i was hard pressed to choose the Jackson SL3 , Jem 7svbl or the Rg1570Mrb...haha..after seeing the crowd come in and put them back like that...i think the Rg was a better choice..playability and price wise =)

pickups.jpg

top to bottom:
dimarzio chopper - $89.
dimarzio super distortion - $84.50.

both without GST.

it's amazing SO many people just missed the pickups... they were the best buy nearing the end of the sale man. i bet ya, someone's gonna regret not buying them later. :p

tany - don't worry... your first guitar you bought right? enjoy the stock pickups first... later when u develop and idea of what sound u want then get better. :)

Most unfortunate that i've become a Seymour Duncan fan :(

i am 99% sure they are. Hardly much of the total Ibanez series is in yet.. prepare to see the 2005 Artcore models soon.

On another note, the Boss, Digitech and some other distro have been passed on to Music Plaza, so maybe we can expect some new brands? :)
