hey people,i want a pitch shifter pedal...so should i invest on a digitech whammy which cost a bomb or settle down for a boss Ps which is well within my budget? which is a more worthy investment?
Trouble with the PS-5 is that if you want to have more control over it you have to buy the dedicated expression pedal. And even then I'm not so sure how it would work, especially with the octave feature, which is what alot of people go for.

on the pitch shifter mode of the ps-5, using an expression pedal, you can basically do the same as a whammy
the ps-5 also has a built-in "expression pedal", when you step on it on tremolo mode, it works like an expression also although the feeling is a bit different
But that pseudo expression pedal isn't as flexible, right? In any case, Crawldaddy dude...what is the dedicated expression pedal add-on? Is there a specific model?
^^ Exactly... it sounds just like the whammy. Reference: David Gilmour's latest solo album On An Island has a song "The Blue" and the solo has like tonnes of whammy-produced octave effects.
Ummmm haha forgot which expression pedal is required (all I know is that it's a roland one). Perhaps you could check the webby and look at the PDF manual? Gotta go give lesson now
