boss pedals help

heys softies...
i need help arranging my pedals...
i have a boss sd-1 and ds-1
all stock...
play music like the veronicas and paramore...
i wan the both the ds-1 and sd-1 to help me achieve sweet and warm soloing notes like the intro riff of "pressure" by paramore
but i dunno whether to place the sd-1 b4 the amp or after the guitar

well, no matter where u place it it'll be bef the amp and after the guitar.
did u mean before or after the ds1?
if u meant that i would put the sd in before the ds, before meaning nearer to the guitar in the chain.

guitar ---> ds-1 ---> sd1 ---> amp

or

guitar ---> sd-1 ---> ds-1 ---> amp

ohh ok.
guitar > sd1 > ds1 > amp
if your amp doesnt have a built in distortion u would use the ds1 as your main distortion and the sd1 to boost the ds1. imo the ds1 cant really act as a main distortion for me..
thats how i would place it but u can mess around with the positions,u might find that u like the opposite.
btw, just a short disclaimer..i dont listen to paramore so im just advising u on how i would place the pedals
