Boss + Fender =?

Was looking at the Boss website, not sure if it's new or old but has anyone tried their 'Legend Series'?

It seems like they put 3 Fender amps, the 63' Fender Reverb, 65' Deluxe Reverb, and 59' Bassman.

Just wondering if anyone has tried, owned or even seen one around? I think they're rather interesting if you're not playing through an amp?

I recently got the FDR-1 Deluxe Reverb. Haven't managed to spend much time with it, but first impressions are good. Nice cleans to slightly overdriven sound, useful tone controls, and the vibrato and reverb both sound great when applied sparingly. The reverb is interesting in that it models the actual noises of a spring reverb tank but it can get a bit harsh with the reverb set high. I wish there was a way to control the modulation, they should make a switchable mode where the pedal is "always on" and the footswitch toggles the vibrato or reverb instead.

As far as I know, there is no speaker sim and it's not meant to be used direct -- you should still use it with an amp. It does give my Laney solid state amp an entirely different character. Take note though that I do not know what a real Deluxe Reverb should sound or feel like, but I definitely like the sound of the FDR-1 pedal.
