IN MY HONEST OPINION,


Blink owns Greenday. Blink has all the raw teenage energy and feel in their songs. Never mind about childish, rubbish lyrics about sex, grandparents and nonsense, it is very entertaining, although a little repetitive. Travis sure makes extremely catchy grooves and beats, that enhances their music.

Greenday however a little more mature, seem to lack that pop punk raw teenage energy. Also, Greenday fails to make up for their lack of creativity. Songs are simple, forgettable, and NONE of their members seem to be good technically(not saying that blink is any better, but do note travis's creative drumming).

Despite simple powerchord playing, Blink also seem more exciting to listen/play to. Greenday after all these years of music writing could only come out with forgettable radio tunes like American Idiot and WMUWSE. BUT, kinda popular among the little kids lah.

And Blink to me, has a much better image compared to Billie and Co.

Everything that i said above are only my honest thoughts. Greenday fanboys come sue me. :twisted: :twisted:

i read somewhr on the pop disaster tour, blink had that idea.

but green day rejected it

after all, green day went on that tour to steal blink fans. cos they werent doing well in 2001

Actually i like Greenday too but when you try to compare them, it's hard to choose one.

other bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan also good leh...geez, should never ask me to be a voter.
