definitely not.. if they could, why is he still in the band playing? during Wake Me Up When September Ends solo, Billy Armstrong just walk around and shout "HEY!!".

i was like "what the heck he doing man? aint he supposed to be playing as well? shout "HEY!!" aint gonna get him more fans.. where is the entertainment value?"

the bassist just stand there like a rock with occasional constipated looks on his face & jason white can hardly be seen though he seem to be playing most of the song..

that is why.. imo, Blink > GreenDay but im not imposing on it.. both bands are good, personal opinions seldom count.

the thing about tom in angels and airwaves is that i realised that his lyrics are always repeating and repeating and repeating...lol...plus 44 sound a bit like blink but a little weird with only mark's vocals.

AVA keeps repeating..too much delay..etc etc

but im proud of the blink boys for putting out good albums for AVA and +44.

also, tom's boxcar racer was really good.

this proves that they are really talented, despite playing simple powerchords
