Announcing the official launch of Blackwood Guitars!

To all you guys and gals who have already been speading our name by word of mouth and on SOFT, we salute you (as Angus Young would say)! We are very pleased to say that your newest guitar boutique is now fully operational, with the widest range of boutique guitar effects ranging from Artec to Z-vex, some of the most sought-after amps in the market (6 second hand Mesa Boogie, 2 ENGL, 1 Budda coming in in 2 weeks' time), affordable used Gibsons and Fenders as well as other rare/vintage guitars!

Feel free to come in to look around and play with all the gear in store, or just to have a friendly chat about gear or music (coffee on us if the Towkay is around!)

BTW, some of you guys might have received a little special email invite from us for our exclusive launch party tonight, so be sure to come down to enjoy our special one-off discounts!

We've got a couple of Gibson SGs actually, one is a standard SG in black with brushed aluminum pickguard and matching hardware (Guitar Centre limited edition), and the other is a Guitar of the Week SG with triple single coils - very chimey, this one!

haha ive walked past the boutique twice, but never dared to go in cause the decor was too pretty.

I felt like a newb like me would be scoffed it in the shop, but next time i'll take a look

Don't shy away, we were all newbies once, in fact we still suck at playing guitar man! But you don't need to be a shredmeister to appreciate good gear (or at least that's what we tell ourselves)

Hi

To put it simply, its a zero-interest installment plan. You have up to 3 months to pay up for your gear at your own pace, during which time the guitar/amp stays in Blackwood under your name but in our possession. Once the payment is made in full, you can collect it from the shop and the transaction is complete!

Hey guys.. Wanted to thank you all for letting me try the guitars extensively this week..
Finally made up my mind and bought a guitar..
Sorry Man, I bought hub's SG before you did! And thanks Norman for the heads up on hub's thread (wouldn't have logged in if you hadn't told me!)..

Sure hope someone snaps up that punchy HMT tele and versatile SG Standard w/ 3 single coils!
