i've a problem with my blackheart little giant i recently bought it. i connect my guitar direct to the amp. when im playing the tone will suddenly change. like sometimes it becomes wobbly between bright and warm. can anyone help me with this?
thanks all

hmmm by warming up u mean like turning it on but leaving the volume at zero right? i left it like a few minutes before i played.. And the wobbling sound came like around half an hour later after i started..

first time using it and i didnt use it that long around an hour at most.. so i should get it checked?

help

pls help.. the problem is still there does anyone out there know how to solve it?
Everywhere i search everyone says warm up the tubes for a minute or two before playing thats what i always do and the problem is still persisting.
the problem has been there since i bought it but its on off.
As in when i start there is no sudden volume increase but after awhile it starts happening sometimes it doesnt happen at all sometimes it just goes on and on the volume just keep alternating between loud and soft.

can anyone help me with this problem thanks very much.

thanks so i guess i have to lug it back to yamaha and have it checked out huh? they do that there?

honestly, i dont think they'll be able to do anything about it if you bring it back to them. most of the staff members don't really know much. i suggest bringing it down to a shop, like sound alchemy. seekz can help you

When you say you bought it, you mean you bought it first hand or off another guy?

Either way, it sounds like a case tubes going bad. Either the pre-amp tube or power amp tube. If it sound doesnt die out on you eventually, it might be something else. So just give it a few more days of playing, see how it turns out.

I had experienced returning items to yamaha. You can just ask for another unit replacement. If they ran out of stock, then still ask them to find on another store branch.hopefully they have.I think within 7 days, you should get back to them.

Yamaha @ PS is a joke.
Including most of the staff.

i won't say a joke. just compared to those hired at penin, bras basah and city music.Penin, bras basah and city music people know their stuff better.davis is a good example.

unfortunate for TS to have to deal with yamaha

erm.just asking..

is it a guitar problem?

what guitar are you using?
maybe you're playing a strat and strat players like me sometimes accidentally turn the volume down with my pinky while strumming.

could it be that u plug it into the wrong ohnm selection? causing the tubes to load improperly..if u get what i mean..
