 my boss metal zone cant work. still new. haiz. but then its now not working. spoilt? damn. i used a Carl martin power supply. must repair? issit possible? how much? gosh i really love this pedal. help please. thank u so much..

you should be more specific in describing your problem so that fellow softies can help you.
when you say it is spoiled, the possibilities are endless.
i'm not expert in pedals but i believe,
there are a few things you should check
can the pedal be switched on? (is the LED litted)
if it can't be switched on, try using a 9v battery instead of your power supply. it could be the power supply.
is there sound produced?
check to make sure your volume of your guitar, amp, pedal is not at 0. (i've made this mistake before).
there are probably a few other things to check, such as your cable, your power point blah blah.

and erm, if it doesnt work, bring it to the shop where you bought it from. if it's under warranty, you might not have to pay. if it isn't it would cost you a small sum of money (definitely less than what you paid for it).

i hope that helps

Yeah, you gotta trouble shoot this yourself, when all parts of the pedal has been tried, then you can confirm it's spoilt.

If you're using a chain of pedals, take out the MT-2 and test the MT-2 only, change the power supply to battery supply, change the daisy chain cable. If still no sound try plugging straight to amp with your cable to guitar to check if it's the cable that is spoilt. :)

Or maybe you just "forgot" to plug a cable into the input jack.

Anyways. What's wrong if you just bring it to the shop you bought it from, (since you said it was new) instead of whining here, without giving a single clue of what's wrong with your pedal and then expecting answers? The possibilities of what happened to your pedal are endless.

tried everything

I've tried everything. But still cant, the light would still be on. No sound. Tried just using the pedal and straight to amp. Tried testing the cables from guitar straight to amp. Tried using battery instead. All cables are inserted correctly. Amp,guitar, pedal volume was put up high also.
The clean sound still can go trough but when i press down the footbutton there's no distorted sound produced.
Hmmm, guess i'll bring it down to the shop then. Thanks guys.
