If cost in a concern, the vox v847 is a gd place to start. It has a little highs to out of my liking, but thats wat ur feet is for rite? Its also more vocal than a crybaby, it goes more like WAAOOOOOOOOAAAW, while the latter is just WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW.

comes to wah, you gotta go try... wahs are more.. well, people are more picky with wah flavour than with dirt flavour.

For one - I actually prefer an inductor-less wah (maxon flubber wah with some mods) than one with an inductor (vox, teese, budda...)

But choose wisely. Some inductorless wahs sound... like crap. Just like those with inductors. And they don't have as vocal as wah-tone like the Teese wahs.

yeah, i'm really interested in the morley switchless wahs.
they seem like a great option for live playing. sometimes you try to push the wah on with your foot and you miss it. kinda sucky.

but yeah, any opinions/thoughts on the morley bad horsie and mark tremonti wahs?

I've tried the Bad Horsie 2 wah. Basically a bad horsie with an extra switchable set of settings.

Its nice.

Not throaty, vocal-like but it did the job. Stock mode didn't have as obvious an effect when playing high up the neck so thats where the 2nd mode comes in!

But its not TB. I don't like a buffer at the start of my chain. Off it went.

That said, my wah search (well, not really a search lah, just chanced upon it) has found a nice indcutorless wah in the Flubber wah. Nice.

Yes.

Install a switch.

but what's the point? The switchless allows you to do things a normal wah can't. Play a riff, then wah in quick and stop... how to do that with switching wahs especially if its a fast riff? That said, haha, not many riffs out there demand that.

And anyway, if you don't play with transistor based dirt pedals... or you play with buffered dirt pedals... then, just leave it be.

^haha nah, i've got an RMC wah1 with a pretty tight switch thats all. switchless with TB would be nice though. non TB would be a nightmare, my OCD and brit bender probably would go haywire!
