Best Jamming studio?

If you ask for the 'best' jamming studio, you're going to get different people recommending different studios... It comes with experience. Try some different studios and decide which you like best. Some might like an untidier but more homey studio, or some might like a more professional looking one.. and the equipment plays a part too. Some people like the Marshall AVTs and some don't.

But I can provide a list of studios I personally like (google them for address and website):
- Stone Jamz
- Fourtones
- Beat Merchants
- Music Ensemble

I would like to go to beat merchants next week...so is the equipment good??eg.no spoil parts, crack cymbals, spoil guitar...

I believe Beat Merchants is not that good.. In fact my band refuses to jam there anymore..
Fourtones is also in a horrid condition now..

LCube not so bad, Back Beat too I would recommend.

To be honest I like Stone Jamz more than Fourtones and Beat Merchants. Even the Smarvo amps in the cheaper room aren't bad, though people always complain about them. My experience with them was good. Just that the staff are sometimes not reliable (i.e. sleeping while we're waiting outside to be let in). But they're friendly and if we're late and no one else booked the studio, they'll gladly change the time for us.

Music Ensemble's got really good equipment. My only gripe is that the rooms are small and cramped, and there aren't many power sockets available for pedals / multi-effects.

I haven't found the 'perfect' jamming studio yet. All of those I've been to have some flaw somewhere...

thx for your suggestions guys really appreciate it.... :) Btw where is stone jamz is located??can't find the location on forum...

beat merchants for me.
equipments ok what.
cymbals no crack or anything.

have any of you tried daisy rock then?
the auntie there is like friendlier than my school teachers.
equipments are good too.

Daisy rock at Selegie road? That's Music Ensemble.. the shop sells Daisy rock guitars, and the studios are at the back. Even the largest room is kind of small. But yeah. Very friendly staff. :)

Hmmmmm to be honest Fourtones isn't in the best condition, although it is big (the bigger room anyway). I'd recommend backbeat, the rooms are of a decent size (the smaller studio could accomodate 8 people the last time i went, although it was a little cramped), the equipment are decent and best of all the decor and ambience is nice.

Backbeat is great. Some of the rooms in Beat Merchants can have a bad smell sometimes—ask for the air freshener

if You say Fourtones is as horrid, how long ago was your last visit to Fourtones??? to be honest, regardless how horrid the condition is a Jamming studio in Singapore, it still caters to all jammers. But Then again regardless how jammers want it to be, Four Tones will always be Singapore's 2nd Best Jamming studio.

In my opinion, the best jamming studio i have practised at Attic Jamming Studios located at Katong. Or if not that then Chapter 6.

How's Kantare? Izzit spacious?
I'm currently looking for spacious room like the bigger rm of fourtones cos u know fourtones, really gd biz.

I do agree Fourtones is not the best of conditions now cos too many ppl goes there so equipment definitely will depreciate. That's normal. But i'll still go to the big room cos its really spacious. But 1 feedback, though, the keyboards sucks big time ever since the hard touch one got changed away :(
The ppl at Fourtones are definitely friendly!

Music Ensemble ppl are great, the last time i went, the amp had some prob, the guy took 30min to repair it, in the end they let us jam additional 2hs to make up for it. Cool right!
+1 to them for the gd service.

Cheers! Peace :)

I think Orlando is the best. they have friendly staff and good equipments. the room is abit small but very organised and tidy, the aircon is very good and the rates are affordable. their drum set is pretty well maintained too!
