Hello guys,

Just want to know whether BEHRINGER single pedal are reliable and

comparable to BOSS.They are much cheaper!!!

get their gt2 copy or vamp, those are the worth it stuff for drive imo, just that vamp is digital

and y do u want to get sth that sounds like an mt2? eeew... mt2...

behringer is a good brand to get those kinda ppls u wanna get for the sake of having one, like acoustic stimulator or sth... wonder if they have a boss ps5 copy, dun mind one

Behringer units falling apart is subject to the users' treatment. my Pre-amp Booster is still alive & functional. so is my GDI...

there are Behringer reviews in the review database...

nysk-and y do u want to get sth that sounds like an mt2? eeew... mt2...

Why you dislike mt2?Please tell...I thought it would sound like Tallica

or something!?

mt2 imo sounds awesome at low amp levels. but once you crank the amp volume up, it loses it's lower range and the tone is very hollow. some ppl call it the 'nasally' tone

If you gig and stomp a lot, probably not. If you usually play in your bedroom and lightly step or use your fingers to press, then it should last.

Like most things, if you don't abuse it, it should be fine. But in a gig setting, its a bit unlikely you'll gently step on your pedals. So do consider that.

I think in the right setup the MT2 can sound decent. I've used it before and can get good tones out of it. Helps if you can EQ on the amp side or have a separate EQ pedal.

mt2 imo sounds awesome at low amp levels.

lol. not at all man. even at low volumes its really just a mass of cold lifeless gain. still very thin sounding.

and the guitrust, why would it sound like metallica? hammett even uses a TS808 in the early days i believe, not MT-2.

wonder if they have a boss ps5 copy

there is one coming up. their showcase at NAMM featured a lot on insane ones. a lot of vintage boss copies, some EHX copies and some modified to the extreme... like this

check them out on their website

btw i own a behringer eq, phase shifter, compressor and GDI

they are not that easy to break as most think. the pedals have a sort of feel that you just have to get used to, its more of a step-on than a stomp

hope this doesn't turn into an 'MT-2: For vs Against' thread.

the MT-2 is a good intense distortion unit to own, but some of us here have moved onto something more personal. this doesn't mean the MT-2 becomes a dud for dweebs.

personally, i'm eager to own more Behringer pedals, nevermind if they are plastic, etc. i'm looking for dealers who can bring in selected units...

and some modified to the extreme... like this

heh, behringer dont mod stuff to extreme. The delay below is a copy of line 6 tone core series..

other than boss, EH, mxr, their claw now extend to line 6...
Line 6 emulate effects of different brand and behringer took it one step beyond by going after line 6
