Beginner/intermediate heavy metal songs

Any recommendations for beginner/intermediate heavy metal songs to learn? I just learnt the riffs from Master of Puppets (played with alternate picking, of course) and a few simple Black Sabbath songs. Keen to learn more songs.

I'm fine with any subgenres - traditional, thrash, death, doom, black, etc. I wouldn't mind hard rock and hair metal songs as well. Thx

well.. master of puppets dont sound as heavy using alternate picking.. so if you wanna play that, try to stick to down-pick all the way.. sounds mightly heavy, and make you look also..

Black Sabbath - Ironman, Paranoid
Sepultura - Troops of Doom, Arise
Obituary - Slowly we rot

its really easy just alot of alternate pickin trust me..had guitar for 2 years but reallyy got into it for half a year its pretty easy jsut have to get warm-ups first
