What about Takamine??? They sound pretty good to me.

But if you are really determined, why not invest on sumthing better? Like a baby taylor, thats wad i did and im happy wif it although im still learning

There isn't a need to take up classical lessons if it is just for "strum/pick and sing".

Unless you're seriously interested in classical music, I don't really see a need to take up classical lessons unless you wanna learn flamenco strumming or those very "accent-ed" picking.

Big difference when you watch a classically trained person play say Romance d Amor VS. one who isn't.

Classical emphasizes a lot on posture, where you place your hand, your guitar, and how your wrist should arc or w/e, I think. - All these say-tell by my senior anyway
