Most of you should know :prayer: Beez. He's the guitar tech at Yamaha Plaza Singapura. Has been fixing pickups and guitars for 30 years, and playing for well over 20. How that came about is beyong me, fixing more than playing.

The point is, he is truly -amazing-. Knows more about the guitar than most people I know, plays better than everybody I know =x He really is excellent. He's the sort that when he says he's #2, nobody would dare to claim they're #1.

Sweeps like nobody's business, can play faster than my eyes can follow his finger movements, and doesn't make a single mistake.

Secondly, his guitar skills, technical wise. He installed my pickups today, took him like an hour max. All the wiring was done neatly, everything was tested. He even managed to save my strings =/ Excellent workmanship, he leaves no stone unturned and he doesn't do anything substandard. Everything is first class. Knows more about guitars, tones and pickups than an entire library. =/

Just reccomending him, his services, and his playing skills.

Chill out, rock on.

[$$ edited out by SOFT, please contact Beez directly] per hour. 1 hour per lesson. You gotta arrange with Beez himself. This is one of those Word-of-Mouth things, much like Hitch. =/

paul daz is pretty busy i guess with his heavy schedule.
i want more lessons also he no time teach me... haizz...

but his lessons are really very good.

Sorry to bring up such an old post because I didn't want to create many-new-topics just to ask my questions. I'm wondering how is Beez as a teacher?

I went to him for setting up of my guitar, a real friendly person who showed me a trick or two while I was in his shop when he was setting up my guitar. I only met him twice, one for the setting up and another time was to check the bridge adjustment. I was thinking of finding a guitar teacher because my guitar progress has been slow. I know how much he charges but I wanna know what I'm going to get myself into. I read up on Tom Hess (ehhh...did a Google search) because I was looking around for teachers online and face-to-face. I still went back to consider Beez as a potential guitar teacher. Any students of his could give me a rough idea on how the lessons are being conducted and how it is? I'd appreciate it, thanks in advance.

Beez is a great guy.
before you jump into picking a teacher, you will need to access your needs and see if beez can help you be a better player.

I know he does. I like to play blues and pop / rock. Of which after speaking to Beez, he does teach that, and country too.

But I wanna know how his lessons are conducted, how's the first lesson like, what to expect and how does he teach? I've been playing the guitar for...3 years already but my progress is slow thus my decision to look for a guitar teacher.
