DO YOU WANT TO BE THE NEXT BIG THING? THINK YOU WILL BE THE HOTTEST DJ IN TOWN?

This June school holidays, Singapore Discovery Center is in search for musically-talented youths to be the next local sensation in the music scene and also serve as an ambassador for the local Deejay community. Mix your own music with a distinct Singaporean touch!

There are 2 categories in this competition:
Age Group: 13 to 18 years
Age Group: 19 years and above

The top three winners of each category will not only win fantastic prizes, but also get a chance to showcase their winning piece at the National Youth Council’s SHINE 2010 Festival Launch on 3rd July 2010, at *SCAPE and NDP roadshows at various shopping malls.

Registrations will be done online at the dedicated BEATZ Fusion Singapore 2010 website and during roadshows. After which, there will be two Selection Rounds that will be conducted at *SCAPE leading to the Finals which would be held at S’pore Discovery Centre on 26th June 2010.

BEATZ FUSION SINGAPORE 2010 – The Ultimate Deejay Showdown
DO YOU WANT TO BE THE NEXT BIG THING? THINK YOU CAN BE THE HOTTEST DJ IN TOWN?
Come this June, S’pore Discovery Centre (SDC) is searching for musically-talented youths to be the next DJ sensation in the local scene and using their own unique talent to share their Singapore Story!

There are 2 categories in this competition:
Category A: 13 to 18 years
Category B: 19 years and above

Finalists are required to include 2-3 pre-mixed local songs (i.e. songs written or composed by Singaporeans) in the competition piece.

• Denon Limited Edition DJ Jacket

Top Prize Category B
• $500 Cash
• A half hour set to spin at one of St James Power Station outlets
