all the best to the 16 bands~ the results will be out at 6pm tonight! 
its pretty exciting! i hope all 16 got a chance to get in. everyone worked so hard for it. but if you one of the 8 that doesn't get through, never be disheartened and keep on playing!

Honestly, surprised that Trella and Tacit Aria didn't make it. But well, Barricade and Audiocean will be the ones to watch for me... Eh, got metal band(Meza Virs) at Baybeats, cool or what?

Trella, your music reminds me of..........................
im a neutral. i watched this band about 2/3 yrs ago. they performed at DXO.
i reely feel they have the potential to be a big band!
but i somehow feel that the singer....................................
someone shld tell him man.
i watched them a few times alrdy.
and in all honestly, the fact that their sound is so virginally tight, even if the singer is ......................, no one reely notices.
but yeah. hope the singer wakes up his idea.
no offence. but dun let your band down.
most importantly, dun let yourself down.
there are many pple in this forum who have spent years trying to find the RIGHT members to form a band and play music together and go thru the whole
'ok, we gonna record, then we gonna promote, then we gonna distribute the cds...........'
but nothing happens in the end. cos everything that was said, was bullcrap/empty talk.
i've spent like 3 yrs in this forum lookin for the rite members or bein in a band to play the music that we love, collectively. almost everything was a failed venture. lies, deceit, betrayal, etc. i've seen it all. racism, stereotyping, thrash talk, selfishness.
no money but wanna jam, spend like 1hr tuning their guitars, talk crap bout other pple and their bands, only think bout yourself and the fact that u juz wanna be in a band cos being a vocalist, the limelight will be on u.
so yeah. appreciate the fact that u have good musicians in your band who put in so much of effort in their respective area. the least u can do is to match up to them.
value the fact that u are actually in a reely good band that will go reely reely far.

and yeah. i think Trella is one band whose music will evolve as time goes by.
their music reminds me of Emery's brand new album, 'In Shallow Seas We Sail'.

Man, take a mirror and reflect your own flaws first before spewing out the same old crap again and again and again, i tell ya i know about your little 'history' in playing together with other musicians .... But let me tell ya, dont try to be a judge without any real decency and credibility of your own to back u up... why do u think u've been trying to find a band for 3 yrs now? Maybe it isnt because of the people you meet... maybe it isnt because of the disagreement on genre/concepts/plans... maybe it isnt even because of the music... but could it be you, YOUR OWN SELF? Think about it... cos when i do, i realize it was a whole waste of time, nothing even concrete could be accomplished... why? If you werent interested at all then why bother bluffing and leading others on when u know very well its going to be the same outcome? and i told u frm day one i'm entirely serious about this.... but what do you do, keep on trying to find new bands and all when u get bored/frustrated/confused/aimless/'ah i lost the fire' and what not... and then do the 'disappearing' act (even magicians would be in awe) and then coming back and feeding me all the same recycled bullshit over again... then suddenly talk about powerjam 2... or wait, maybe we can even become a cover band in some shithole pub.... are u even for REAL? What is it exactly u want, man? U think I want to play in a band so it can all be about me and i can have all the limelight as the singer...haha... it only goes to show how far u are away from the cloud of reality.... and we werent even plays shows yet man! Whats up with all that bitterness... man, let me tell u again. Before u decide to argue back, u sit down and just reflect your own self first. Seriously.
