bass instructor anyone?

First of all, a big hello to all fellow musicians.
As you can see, I'm looking for a bass instructor.
Now, a big problem... I can't read notes and I learn mostly from friends or listening to CDs so my basics are all messed up.
Have been playing for a while but feeling stagnant now. Have been working in a new job too so it's been tough to pick up new things at the same time.
I'm hoping some kind soul bass instructor can guide me.
Anyone lobang or recommendations?

I used to play the bass, but don't think I quality enough to teach advance stuff. Perhaps bass books and good metronome are a good starting point. What style do you play?
