Bass effects for guitar

How bad will the sound turn out if i used a bass multi effects for an electric guitar?

give it a shot, many guitarists out there use pedals built for bass and many bass players use pedals built for guitars. the important thing is that you find what you're looking for in your pedal.

common problems of course would be using a guitar distortion or overdrive, and you find that the pedal takes all the bass out of your signal leaving you with a souless tone that sounds more akin to a weak buzz saw. but hey, if it rings your bell, go for it. -)
