Bass amp for ultra low frequency

hi,

need a decent rig to handle a F#0. any recomendation woodworkz might be bringing epiphani so thats is on my list.

but anything else i am all ears.

Really need that low? Technically speaking, even the Epifanis aren't designed to handle an F#0 (on paper). The 6x10 cab has a freq response from 35Hz, and F#0 is around 23Hz I think. You'll hear more of the harmonics and mostly "feel" the fundamental. I'm sure alot of ppl can't hear that low either.

yup need that low, my other band got a 8er guitar and i cant drop anymore on the 5er. if i can;t get the F#0 to be working proper, i will quit that band!! F# will prolly be used in breakdown parts, sludge parts, drone to fill up the empty space..etc.. while the faster notes i prolly play on the E0

was thinking of this - http://www.sfxsound.co.uk/mainpage.asp?page=thumpinator

and pair it with a 3x10 epiphani + 1x15 + 1000watts head. that would be seriously overkill for a practice rig *grinz*

E1 or E0? E0 is 20Hz, even worse than your F#0. And that's on the brim of audibility for the human ear, unless your audience consists of dogs =D Also I'm assuming an F#0 tuned string would be very very floppy even at 35" scale.

wow, i've not heard of any tuning below B0.

to me, B0 is already in the droning range - not really a pitch. I must 'hear' your F#0 some day.
