We should do a shootout once you get yours.... I'd be interested to hear how his A2 pickups sound like! i guess getting page tones should be a breeze
yeah then u finally get to experience first hand how massively heavy my les paul is.
not really aiming for page tones actually. haha more of the very typical paf tone like paul kossoff's of free, dickey betts kinda tone. nailing page's tone is very very very hard. he has so many different tones anyway.

prices are quite decent, even cheaper than UK.
This is probably the best deal done by any guitar shop this year in terms of bang-for-buck factor as it really is relatively cheap compared to the former dealer's price and even if you order from the net. BK pickups are great pickups and in fact, I still have the apaches I bought from a friend. Very versatile set that can go from clean to grinding tones.

i always used stock gear and this was my very first pickup swap in my gib lp custom. i found the stock pickups ok-- but after reading all the rave reviews abt them i decided to give them a try and got a matched cold sweat set.
the compressed sound was gone, it sounds massive with very big and tight low end and has very great clarity with just the right amount of bite in the top end. so impressed with them im ordering a miracle man set for my prs

Does Manlius make 7 string pickups? IMHO, 6 string vs 7 string pickups hard to compare leh unless the 7 string version of the pickup is equivalent to its 6 string variant. I could be wrong.
