Thinking of switching over to play acoustic guitar, but not sure what to get. Have the baby taylor in mind but is it worth the money and is the tonal wise as good as other normal full scale guitar of the same price? So softies , really need your help and opinion on this, budget is around the price of the baby taylor so yeah thanks alot in advance! Any Recommendations?

Cort's CJ series guitars gets my vote for its value.
Their parkwood series is good as well, if you don't mind that it doesn't have electronics built in.

I believe you'll take more care than playing with Taylor guitars. Suggest you get the Corts, takamine or yamaha. those are not bad guitars too.

Hmm okay, seems tat Cort has some good ones, Prolly look more into that area thanks... Anyone to comment on the baby taylor sound wise?

Baby Taylor

I've tried my friend's mahogany Baby Taylor,
the sound is amazingly focused and sparkling clear- excellent recording guitar IMO...strumming is Taylor quality (which is good) but when plucked (whether with fingers or pick) i find it lacks sustain and the warmth which a grand auditorium/concert/dread would give.
Baby Taylors are good value for money IMO, but if you're looking for something which would give you volume and more versatility, i suggest you look towards a full-sized acoustic

one cheap acoustic that really caught my attention is the simon & patrick songsmith.
i would take that over a taylor big baby anyday.

dont get the baby taylor. it's too small, get something a whole lot fuller and bigger.

support our local maestro? they're good guitars.

get the big baby. its almost a full scale guitar but for a fraction of what a full size taylor would cost.
