AVATAR The Movie

I thought the movie was ok. Amazing visual effects, decent but draggy storyline.

The amazing Visual Effects - Let's look at what they have accomplished to make it truly engaging: 1. creating a new planet full of an incredible number of fascinating animals and plant life - props for that; 2. so many different forms of believable action from climbing, falling, flying; 3. a seamless integration of animation with real life! 4. the 3D - I saw it three times just to see it in different size theatres at different distances from the screen. My fave was definitely up close, fifth row from the front - harder to focus but the realism was incredible. You really thought you were "in the picture" it was that real. Try it you will be blown away!!!

Woah dude, you actually saw the movie 3 times? Regretted watching it in 3D, it was cool for the first couple of minutes. Gave me a headache afterwards...
