I'm using Tascam Us-1641 audio interface to plugin my mics and headphones to record my drums. I can hear my drums but i could not hear what i record. I'm using le cubase 5. I select all my eight mic into my inputs and for my output i don't select anything as i'm not using monitors. it there a step or mistake i have made?
Audio interface problem.

press F4 (Devices > VST connections)
Inputs : set all your Tascam audio I/F
Outputs : set on your tascam audio outputs.
if you set it now after you've recorded, your current drumtracks's "input/outputs" will be resetted as "blank" , so from there press F3 (Devices > Mixer) , click and set the OUTPUT of your drumtracks as your tascam. you should be able to play it now.
the other thing is, make sure you have disabled "Monitor" (the little orange speaker icon beside your red record button icon) otherwise you won't hear playback.
