I did compare with and without Desk plug-in. It quite fun to extract the "distortion" between both clip. You will notice the "distortion" happen most in hot level. There is a bit of clip and something heavier. It is subtle. But you will catch it when you compare with and w/o it. It does have the "analog" feel.

This is the easiest to use. Plugin and do nothing. Just plugin in the first and last of your effect chain in every track,aux,bus,master....etc.

Also it come in three plug-ins.

As I working on new demo, I find this plug-in is easier to throw more sound in. It is easier to control loudness too. Of cos, you have to start new project to feel it. Just plugin first before working on a track. Got time, I will demo a project is build from stretch with this plugin and do AB test clip.
