Guys, u know in guitar pro sometimes they hav some notes which r Xs? E.g.

--3--3--3--(3)--x-x--3--3--3--(3)--x-x--, wat r the Xs? and the brackets too. wat r they? thx for the info

eh, pm and x is different

pm has a note played underneath. i think gp4 oso have. x is muted, totally dead

i get the p.m. one, but i dont know to to execute the total mute note. which part do u mute the string? fretboard? bridge?

just touch the string with your left hand so that no note is played. use more then 2 fingers or there might be some unwanted harmonics.

(3) is a ghost note, or shadow note as you have mentioned, and its simply the note, played SOFTER.

something to do with dynamics, which is a stylo milo way of saying how loud the music should be played at a particular point of the song

the whole point of having ghost notes and mutes is to add some funkyness to the groove

so i hope you will be funky

haha wa lau... i didn't noe soft gt so many deprived ppl hahah!! so jia lat until need a man's love ah? hahah k la k la.... i'll SHOOT my love everywhere k? haHAHA

erm...i don think that's a ghost note right...i think is a optional note huh? must look at the tao gays to see weather it's a ghost note anot..
