Asio4all and Amplitube

Well, as a temporary solution for my lack of an audio interface, I have gone software instead. Asio tells me that my speakers are unavailable, suggesting that I disable MS GS Wavetable softsynth.

I have also closed all audio producing software before using amplitube, anyone can tell me why can't I get any outputs using Asio? I'm using it because DirectX causes a small but rather noticeable lag.

Amplitube shows that it is receiving an input from my guitar.

Does your soundcard support asio? or maybe output not configured properly?

Ah that explains it. Shit, after this computer, no more integrated sound for me.

Uhmm..ASIO4ALL works for most modern (post-1995) sound chips, if not all. I've used it with AC'97 and HDA Intel. Ask on the forums: http://mtippach.proboards40.com/

Most integrated soundcards doesn't have ASIO drivers. That's why ASIO4all exist. It lets all soundcards use ASIO.

amplitube is nice man. you can get a hell lot of tones out of it
