no.... i have nothing wrong with them being christian. im not sure about this, but i just have a problem with bands who choose to preach about their religion through music, especially hardcore to reach out to a more mainstream teenage side. thats not what hardcore is for.

i totally agree with you someone.. hardcore has always been about expressing your freedom for thought, so it's not wrong if u really believe in it.. although i dun like bands with stupid "ketat" fashion..

You guys should check out their latest effort, An Ocean Between Us. A little different from their previous work. It's a little trashy, heavy guitar breakdowns as usual and theres even a guitar solo in a few songs. On yeah theres a little bit of grinding as well.

But then again, it takes alot to please you people. Lol.

dude.. are you kidding? i was shocked that i think that they are coming to singapore while i don't have money in my pocket. I will go for the show. they are one of my fav band. i think they are Metalcore and Christian metal band. People can be clearly seen when you look at the lyrics. I am not a christian but i like as i lay dying and their music.

People said their riffs are so easy and repeated. music is not about making hard to play song or easy to easy song or fast or slow. it is about express the feeling with words and sound.

they are definitely not emo. what i consider emo is who sing about girl friend and sux... (i like singing about politics) . I think emo band never scream or growl or roar . lets say if you scream " oh baby, i need your love" . sh__t , that will be damn funny..

anyway, if as i lay dying come here. I will go .. ASLD rox \m/
