I've spent half my life buying then upgrading, why don't you save enuff to get a mic pre from uaudio? Everyone in the industry knows their products are reliable and delivers. I've got the solo 110 and 610, but this just blew me away!

yes. i 2nd that. i'm using korg/zoom/behringer preamps till the day I can save enough to get my UAD.

either go for the best (don't talk about neve la, broke leh) , or go for the ahem "cheapest"
