Let's have a single thread/subsection of the forum for users to post their "What guitar/amp/equipment to buy" questions, which will not be shown on the Hot new threads.

Frankly speaking the "what guitars" postings are spoiling the quality of the forums. No doubt they are valid posts, but it has come to a point where the questions no longer add value to some of the sub sections of the forum, particularly the Gear subsection, where it's littered with all these questions.
