Anyone miss the old luther classified?

well first we shall say thanks to luther for trying to make things better for users n even providing a classified ads section when they themselves are product sellers....

personally... i would prefer the old classifieds... it was much easier to go through without any hassles... while the new classifieds has to go thru signing up... well sometimes the old are the ones dat make the new ones come...

I'm for the new style. No more silly posts or "ads" that are more like flaming. Now that you gotta sign up, all the Wizard of Oz-s have disappeared.

arie, you are right, luther has been trying to make things better. +1 to them.

signing up could have still implemented with the old navigation system. for me, i find the old one better to navigate with because it was easier to find something you were looking for without browsing thru too many pages.. just hit CTRL-F and you can find it on the page..

but i guess that's where the new system shines as well, with the search engine, and the individual pages for products help to compartmentalise the deal, with individual photos and contact details so its not too confusing, and not too many of the same products circulating around cuz of bumps..

pros and cons.. i still currently prefer the old one, but i think i'll learn to get used to the new system cuz it has more features packed into it.

I prefer the old luther's ads much more. I just love scrolling down silly and browse the long pages to find some bargains. Sometime if I want it quick, I just need to do a search for a specific keyword. Now it's more troublesome. Must click click multiple pages and must click again to see the detail

there seems to be lesser ad being post in the new luther classified ad.
i guess some musician find it troublesome to sign up .

I like the new one...so if the sellers forget to put in their hp or e-mail, you can sign up and contact them if you really want the thing...

The old one was easier and faster to scan through and check out if there's anything you want to get..

The new one is just too troublesome.. still have to click to get details and have to look at multiple pages..

But still kudos to Luther and his guys for upgrading the classifieds system to keep out those idiots :lol:

Saw a new trend on the new Luther ad.

Someone can put promising description on title such as "WTS: Excellent pickup, selling cheap" on the title. And inside the detail: "it's china made epiphone stock pickup. Rusty all over the surface, short wire (5cm long). Selling for $100 each"

i prefer both, but hope that the admins do something about the approval part. sometimes it takes days just to see my ad being approved man. im sure all of us wants to see our ads immediately posted.

I much prefer the old one cos when I use mozilla for the old one, it can load with no problems. But with the new one using mozilla, the page cant load at all and i have to use IE to open it...: (

old. you can cover more ground quickly and silly messages are rather amusing sometimes(but a hassle to keep clean). main thing is more people were trading in the old. easier to buy and sell. now it's rather dead.

i dont really mind both of the interface, but i dont know if it is only me but i realise there are lesser selling/buying now so my votes go to old one
