I have had a few e-mail conversations with ted, unfortunately with the fuel surcharge a tad higher now, his quoted estimate on shipping is bloody high. Its even higher than if we get speakers from music123.com. ~$15 higher.

He quoted me $50-$65 for shipping 2 12" speakers. But he ships with fedex, so charge more i think

Plus i believe its for a pair. Just ask for a confirmation that its a pair...

Hey, didnt buy the webber in the end, cuz found some eminence in spore.

Bought the gb128, its their greenback model, n v gd reviews. Havnt test yet, but if anyone is interested, there is still 1 left.

Cost S$140 each, buy at martin

Cool. I heard good things of the GB128 - supposedly older incarnation of their Private Jack speaker.

THe lady at the shop tested the speakers for me, just to make sure there is sound coming out... N she tested it with her own tube hifi amp. The sound is v warm n CLEAR... But as her amp v low wattage, didnt display the bottoms. But she was playing some old chinese song, n the highs were not piercing, but v glassy n crisp. Of course the tube amp was solid lah...
