Anyone having problems with Facebook?

Hey all,

I am having problems on Facebook. I'm using Mozilla 3.5.2 to access Facebook.

These are the problems that I am facing,
- Unable to press the chat button and chat on Facebook.
- Unable to comment on anything and share 'What's on my mind'.
- The alignment of Requests and Suggestions on the right.

Advice with be greatly appreciated.

It's really irritating. Same problems occur with Safari. I'm able to chat using IE.

try deleting the cookies of facebook

I've deleted my cookies, no difference.

I've got the same problems but they usually go away after a while and come back again. I've deleted temporary files and cookies on both IE and Firefox and the problems are still there. To be honest I can't be bothered with Facebook anymore. So many applications, they just screw up your Facebook page.

Oh, I can't access my Friendster profile either. I can log in at get my 'Home' page, I can even edit my profile but I can't load my profile itself. Ah well...

Yeah got the same problem.The thing might be within Mozilla itself as there are a few sites that have the same problem.

yea!! i had issue... i rem initally the whole page layout was in a mess!!... then my fren pics will have a a rec cross on their pic.. then the page will juz hang there.. showg just the home tabs and all... oh my..

What can we do about it?.

I reinstalled Mozilla 3.5 and signed in Facebook, still the same. Updated to 3.5.2, still the same.

Some of my friends don't encounter this problem when I ask them about it.

Facebook seems to be back in order. The alignment is correct, I'm able to chat and view my notifications with the buttons at the bottom right corner. Hopefully, it stays like this.

How about you guys?

yea it's facebook itself... heard they've been under alot of hacker attacks recently

Works fine for me. Try pressing Ctrl + Shift + Del and then checking all the boxes and press Clear. It should fix the problem

Agreed. Facebook is even bigger than Friendster now, and is probably frequented by more people than any other social networking site. In other words, very popular with a lot of traffic. A perfect target for hackers, internet viruses and the like...

I also have the same problem all the while..using firefox,cannot add friends,too laggy and unable to navigate to any pages unless i hit the refresh button.Now the alignment is alright but some fonts are missing/out of place.
