Anyone can do this?

yeah well what about the routing and all? is it like super advanced electronics or anything? I know nuts about the electronics shit. well basically know nuts about guitar but less about the electronics

and whoa... super grammatical problem with the title

That one you might have to check with a tech. I'm pretty much clueless about how a piezo system works. I know for a fact that Ibanez Lo-Pro has piezo saddles attached on some of their guitars.

yeah that is the RG 2120X if i'm not wrong. saw it in Swee Lee before. 7 string dunno where to start to look for the piezo. they used to have a 2027 7 string with piezo. have no idea whether they still make the saddles for those. furthermore dunno whether it'll fit

heh heh heh, I'm using an RG2027 :) . You could order the saddles from Ibanezrules but I don't think a lo-pro can fit into a edge pro cavity.

did you email the guy who makes those saddles? maybe he could give you some help on the installation.

yeah. 350 USD for parts not including a new bridge. haha. not including service too. so it's gonna suck my wallet dry. was wondering whether there was a cheaper alternative

Great link PatheinRaindropMoe. Hmm, the saddles looks like it would fit an original Edge. A Gotoh trem would be a cheaper alternative to the Original Edge.

If a Gotoh trem can fit into your cavity, you should just replace the whole thing.

however the problem here is, does Gotoh manufacture 7 string trems?

lol. i think gotoh only manufactures fixed 7 string bridges. but yeah graphtech does have the 7 string piezo set eh. just need to do a bit more digging
